Abstract: What is Dungeons and Dragons?

 

Dungeons and Dragons- a game of chance, strategy, adventure, and lore- this well-known roleplaying game has been bringing people together for years. It is full of folklore and tradition and provides players an opportunity to develop a character that is unique, expressive, and interacts greatly with other characters and the world that they are playing in. As players gather and share the many experiences unique to DnD roleplay, they find ways to connect their in-game experiences with their real life experiences. DnD folklore and folk groups provide players opportunities to express themselves and build community through the many specific to DnD aspects of this game.
